Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Analyst to join our laboratory team. The Lab Analyst will be responsible for conducting scientific tests, analyzing results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to accuracy and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, chromatographs (e.g., HPLC, GC), and balances.

Record and interpret test results accurately in laboratory information systems (LIMS) or reports.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), good laboratory practices (GLP), and safety protocols.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability of lab results.

Conduct quality control tests and support process validation and stability studies.

Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams.

Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure proper storage of samples.

Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.

Experience: 0–3 years of laboratory experience (entry-level or internship experience accepted for junior roles).

Familiarity with analytical techniques such as titration, spectrometry, chromatography.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO, EPA depending on industry).

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Good organizational and time management abilities.

Proficiency with MS Office and laboratory software (e.g., LIMS).
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, food testing, or environmental testing.

Experience with statistical analysis tools and software.
-
Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards or GLP guidelines.
