Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Analyst to join our laboratory team. The Lab Analyst will be responsible for conducting chemical, biological, and physical tests on various materials and products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting research and development activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment (e.g., HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis spectrophotometers).

  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents according to standard formulas or technical instructions.

  • Record and analyze data accurately, prepare test reports, and document results in laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

  • Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Assist in method development, validation, and troubleshooting analytical methods.

  • Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

  • Support Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Research & Development (R&D) teams with technical expertise.

  • Identify deviations or out-of-specification results and assist in investigations and corrective actions.

  • Stay updated with new testing methods, equipment, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting (Freshers with strong academic background may also be considered).

  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and familiarity with analytical instruments.

  • Strong understanding of GLP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with LIMS and other lab software.

  • Knowledge of ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards.

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, food testing, environmental, or chemical industry lab.
