Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Analyst to join our team. The Software Analyst will be responsible for evaluating software applications and systems to support the business's technological goals. This role includes gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and working closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure successful software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and document software requirements.

Analyze existing software systems and identify areas for improvement or enhancement.

Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements.

Support the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, implementation, and maintenance.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses of new systems or software upgrades.

Work with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.

Participate in system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.

Maintain accurate documentation of software applications, processes, and user manuals.

Provide end-user support and training as needed.

Monitor software performance and recommend improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and functional specifications.

Familiarity with SQL, databases, and software testing procedures.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.

Knowledge of programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, C#) is a plus.

Familiarity with UML diagrams and modeling tools.

Certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar is a plus.
