The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment. This role ensures accurate inventory management, maintains organized storage areas, and supports operational needs by delivering items promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.

• Label and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.

• Issue materials, tools, and equipment to employees as requested, documenting transactions.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits.

• Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or overstock situations.

• Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

• Dispose of expired, damaged, or obsolete items according to company policy.

• Assist in preparing and packing outgoing shipments when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in inventory or warehouse management is a plus.

• Previous experience in storeroom, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.

• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

• Primarily warehouse or storeroom setting.

• May require standing, walking, and handling materials for extended periods.
