Description
A Data & Analytics Architect is responsible for designing, building, and managing an organization’s data architecture and analytics platforms. They ensure that data is collected, stored, processed, and analyzed efficiently so that business teams can make better decisions using reliable data.
Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture Design

Design scalable data architecture and data models.

Define standards for data integration, storage, and processing.

Ensure data systems support business analytics and reporting needs.

Data Platform Development
-
Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.

Select and implement appropriate tools and technologies for analytics platforms.

Ensure high performance and scalability of data systems.

Data Integration
-
Integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, and third-party systems.

Design ETL/ELT processes for data transformation and loading.

Analytics & Reporting Support

Enable business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.

Data Governance & Security
-
Define data governance frameworks and standards.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security policies.

Maintain data quality and data integrity.

Technology Strategy
-
Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.

Define data architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy.

Collaboration

Work with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business teams.

Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
